Senior Network Engineer
Working with a BDM and the client, you will be planning, architecting and scoping the rollout of client solutions utilising the latest technologies and your years of experience.
Knowledge & Experience
Broad experience/understanding of LAN and Midrange operating systems technologies and directions, in relation to Windows 2000/2003/2008 systems. Extensive skills and knowledge in server hardware, infrastructure and backup solutions. Experience in developing, implementing and supporting technical and business solutions for complex customer IT requirements. MCP or MCSE Windows 2003/2008 qualifications or Extensive strategic and tactical skills and knowledge of the Windows Server environments would be highly desirable. Solid Microsoft Windows Server management experience. A good understanding of Microsoft Windows 2008 and applicable new technologies. Solid Active Directory experience in relation to Design , Migration , Support and Administration. Solid Exchange 2003/2007 Skills in Design , Migration , Support. Administration level experience of VMWare ESX Server relevant VCP Certification would be advantageous coupled with Strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills. A Strong Understanding of DNS and an understanding of Microsoft and Bind implementations. Some Linux patching/install Skills would be advantageous. Midlevel SQL DBA skills on SQL 2005 and 2008 and MySQL Experience with Windows clustering and high availability. Experience with Migrating mail and directory infrastructures. Practival experience in architecting different solutions for customers. Experience with ISCSI SAN and snapshot and replication technologies.
