Professional Implementation Services
Purchasing the right security device for your organisation is an excellent first step in protecting your valuable data assets. To get full value from your investment it is vital that your new security devices are configured and installed correctly. You cannot afford to be exposed to or expose your customers to an ever increasing array of internet threats through poorly configured security infrastructure.
That is why it is critical to have your security device configured professionally and correctly from day one.
manageNET's professional implementation services provide you with more than peace of mind. Our service is provided by engineers who are trained and certified across multiple vendor security appliance products. The service includes the following:

Requirements review and site due diligence.
A qualified engineer will scope your requirements, review your existing network infrastructure, and prepare a plan for the introduction of the security appliance into your network.

Device configuration with policy design.
We will ensure that your security appliance is using the most current and stable firmware release. We will also ensure that the security appliance configuration and policy meet the Scope of Requirements as established with the you, then define network settings and interface configuration.
The service also includes content security management configuration (Anti-Virus, Anti-SPAM, Content Filtering, WEB Caching, and Intrusion Prevention services). Event logging is also enabled.

On-site installation and confirmation of device functionality.
We will liaise with the customer to verify site readiness (including related devices and services required for the implementation). We then perform the physical installation and connection of cabling, then assist with the product and service(s) registration of the security appliance with the vendor. Finally, we test and confirm Internet and network connectivity.

Post implementation review.
A configuration report will be provided detailing the security appliance configuration as of the implementation date. Additionally a backup of the configuration and firmware will be provided as at the implementation date to allow the customer to recover should the device configuration be corrupted. The customer will be entitled to one support call, related to the implementation service, within 30 days of the implementation date.
